Clay is the husband of Joanna Martin and the father of four children, Caleb, Faith, Jenna and Audrey. (Though Caleb at age 15 went home to the Father in Heaven, he still is a part of our family.) Clay serves as our Pulpit Minister. He holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the Austin Graduate School of Theology. He has served in various ministries for many years. He was the Director of the Universtiy Church of Christ Campus Ministry at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) in San Marcos, TX, affiliate professor for Oklahoma Christian University and Southern Christian University, has led and served on mission campaigns to Jamaica, Romania, and parts of the Unites States. He has also earned a Bachelor in Exercise and Sports Science from Southwest Texas State University and a Diploma of Bible from the Southwest School of Bible Studies.
Clay serves as the Executive Director for LifeHouse INC here in Hobbs, NM where children with food insecurity receive food over the weekend. He also paritcipates as a volunteer chaplain in our local Prison Ministry at the Lea County Correctional facility.
